Bowie 10U's Star is Rising On and Off the Ice

A young hockey player with the Bowie Bruins is about to make his network television debut. 

Bowie Hockey Club's 10U player Keivonn Woodard will play Sam in HBO's New Series THE LAST OF US Streaming on January 15.

Keivonn Woodard is a young Black Deaf actor based in Maryland. In Spring 2022, he landed his first TV role (Recurring Guest Star) as Sam in HBO’s “The Last of Us”, opposite mega-stars Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, and Nick Offerman. The series is set to launch on January 15, 2023. His latest project, a short film titled ‘Fractal’ in which he played the Lead, just wrapped in August 2022. In addition to acting, Keivonn is a star on ice skates, leading his ice hockey team to multiple wins! He may be young, but Keivonn is ready to take the world by storm.
